I've been studying, drawing, and getting a life as of late, so it's been a bit.

I apologize for not checking messages in a while.

So, updates:

1.  My scanner is not being cooperative.  It's an oldie, so it is probably due time to replace it.  I need to figure out what unit to save up for, so suggestions on flat bed scanners that are large enough to scan pages that are 9 by 12 and scan at the highest quality would be appreciated.  :3  I don't want to invest in a lemon.

2.  I've invested in a graphic novel on perspective, and plan on making copies at the library so I can practice drawing rooms from IRL (yes, that big scary place that has actual people and objects in it.  I'm terrified too...)

3.  So far, I've spent any free time educating myself, looking for a new job to replace the two I currently have, and hanging out with art/nature nerds.  I've been hiking at the Blue Ridge Parkway with someone who gets just as excited at lizards, salamanders, frogs, and bugs as I do.

4.  After the scanner issue, I'd really like to invest in a mid range tablet to do the digital thing.  Any suggestions on what to save up for?  :flirty: I'd appreciate it.

5.  I am still wanting to vomit after looking at the current political landscape.  They keep crawling out of the woodwork, their heads spinning and vomiting pea soup.

6.  Fashion braces, what's up with that?!

Hopefully I'll do an art dump here soon (that's provided I can get said scanner to cooperate.  :T

Politics? What's that? XD Jk, sadly I know what that is >.> Kinda wish I didn't, things were so much easier when it wasn't part of life worrying about this crap. To bad about your scanner R.I.P Scanner friend. XD Uh for tablets, since I'm a writer I just have a nice laptop, so i'm basically worthless on that particular topic.

^__^ S'okay.

Don't be sorry that you know about what is going on in your surroundings. It is better to be informed and be able to stop things as they rear their ugly heads rather than happy and ignorant of the pain going on around you.

Oh I know, it's just annoying it has to be done XD I wish ignorance meant safety but that means we could all live forever with our heads in the sand, and I don't think that's honest living how about you? :P

Well, I didn't think I had any control of my surroundings for several years. Now that I vomit at misbehaving people online more and follow more petitions, I find that in large groups, people with a common mission, while they have differing opinions on and different backgrounds regarding religion/beliefs/education/background/income level/political party, do help to catalyze change.

We have more control than we think.

We can't change the world with Facebook posts, Tumblr rants, bumper stickers, and T-shirts, we can change maybe one or two minds. That makes all the difference.

Ya, as long as ya realize ya don't have to be a sheep every little thing adds up. You get three people to actually stop and think, then they do the same for three of their friends, then their friends, then their friends. Stuff like that.

Scanner, I can't tell you.
Tablet wise, I personally have a Bamboo Connect. It's fantastic! (: It's usually about $80, so I'd say that's pretty decent for a good tablet. P:

I hardly see just a flatbed scanner in my local stores anymore, so no idea on that. Have several people coming in and wanting one though.

And I think all the stuff with politics is exactly the reason I stay away from watching or reading the news. It just makes my head hurt. Now if only people at work in the break room would understand my decision on nearly political abstinence.

I wouldn't buy one at the magical candyland. Ever. :T

I know I'm going to need a pricey one for what I want to do.
